Abstract

Economic development in rural areas is essential in order to increase the level of welfare of rural communities. Currently, several villages are still having difficulties in developing their leading products. TNP2K (2022) states that the management of the village's leading products has not fully contributed to Local Own-Source Revenue. According to Law Number 6 of 2014 article 78 paragraph 1 states that village development aims to improve the welfare of rural communities and the quality of human life as well as reduce poverty through basic needs, development of village facilities and infrastructure, development of local economic potential, and utilization of natural resources and the environment in an effective manner continuously. One of the keys to encouraging MSMEs to always learn to penetrate the global market is that MSMEs need to focus on fulfilling the aspects of quantity, quality, and continuity so that the determination of interventions in the aspects of quality, quantity, and continuity to support the village cooperation becomes important. Policy recommendations that can be carried out are providing workshops related to the Quality Management System, building shared houses as a forum for village collaboration as factory sharing or logistics sharing, and establishing village cooperation in terms of providing leading product inputs in the form of processed or handicraft products.
