A Study in Banjarnegara Regency
Keywords:
development, management, tourist villageAbstract
This analysis aims to explore the development of tourist villages in Banjarnegara Regency specifically in Pagak Village, Kalilunjar Village, and Dieng Kulon Village as intervened by the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to analyze the management of tourist villages. It was found that the tourist village ecosystem, consisting of managerial, 3A aspects, information technology, and political will, has been built in each village. However, regarding the minimum standards for managing tourist villages, some points have not been fulfilled by those three villages. One of the causes is unclear planning and the Covid-19 pandemic situation, which has neglected tourism. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen the tourist village ecosystem in terms of management and tourist village aspects. In addition, several roles of the Ministry of Villages, PDTT in developing sustainable tourist villages are also recommended.
