Abstract

The Importance of poverty alleviation and sustainable development is a milestone for the government in implementing National Community Empowerment Program (or also known in Indonesia as PNPM) based on community empowerment. Nevertheless, after the program being desisted in 2014 and the emergence of the transformation policy into Village-Owned Enterprises together, it became a polemic in several regions in Indonesia. This study was carried out qualitatively by conducting in-depth interviews with stakeholders in Boyolali Regency. This Policy Brief aims at the urgency of transformation policy for the Eks-PNPM MPd management by providing various alternative policies.
